Is MGM looking for a new James Bond?

After very pointed remarks from current James Bond Pierce Brosnan that he's through with the spy series, MGM is keeping its cool. There has been no official word from the studio after Pierce cavalierly told Entertainment Weekly that "Bond is another lifetime, behind me" except to confirm that they are moving forward with James Bond 21 and hope to make their tentative release date of November 2005.
