Lindsay Lohan gets recording deal

Take that Hilary Duff. In their on-going "whatever you can do, I can do better” feud, Lindsay Lohan has landed another direct hit.

It was announced today that Lindsay Lohan has signed a record deal with Tommy Mottola’s Casablanca Records. If Tommy Mottola sounds familiar, it should. He was former President of Sony Records who signed and eventually married Mariah Carey. Let’s hope that Lohan’s blossoming film career doesn’t follow the same path as Mariah’s.

Hilary Duff has been singing for years and is currently touring with her sister Haylie Duff. Lindsay sang a couple of songs for the Freaky Friday and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen soundtracks.
