Spidey spins new web

As of 12:01 this morning, Spider-Man 2 was released on a salivating audience. The original Spider-Man grossed just over $400 million at the North American box office. After this weekend, the battle of the sequels will be better defined as Shrek 2, which surpassed the $400 million barrier literally minutes before Spider-Man 2 debuted, continues to set the bar high.
