Jackie Chan secures 'Pink Panther' role

Talk about a movie that is coming together faster than celebrity criminal cases these days. Funny action hero Jackie Chan has been added to the cast of Birth Of The Pink Panther.

Just over a month ago, it was announced that Steve Martin would take over the reins as Inspector Clouseau in the MGM movie. Chan will Clouseau's sidekick Kato as the two of them try to solve the murder of a French soccer team manager.

I guess that other Cato was too busy house squatting to read for the part.
