'Spider-Man 2' teaser poster released

The movie everyone is waiting for in 2004 is Spider-Man 2. The follow-up to the movie that made over $400 million in 2002 is due in theaters July 2.

Having begun their unrelenting hype machine for the film, Sony is releasing this teaser poster for the sequel. The photo features Tobey Maguire's webslinger with Doc Ock in his sights, played by Alred Molina.

At this Summer's Comic-Con, Sony gave fans their first glimpse of villain Doctor Octopus as another teaser poster and some rough-cut footage.

Kirsten Dunst and James Franco will reprise their roles in the sequel.
