Apparently, when Quentin Tarantino had to split his new film Kill Bill into two parts, he got some interesting ideas for the eventual DVD release. Initial plans call for both Volume 1 and Volume 2 seeing separate DVD releases with the potential for a special edition later on combining both movies.

The award-winning director of Pulp Fiction commented, "I'm all about being a collector man. Come out with all the different junk you can."

Later Tarantino shared more concrete information about the upcoming DVD release and leaked news of a potential new film to be included on the set. "We'll come up with separate DVDs for Volume 1 and Volume 2 and I'll do special stuff for each of those. Then we'll come up with a real big version with them both together but, I'll do something whole other from that. I might even do some other little movie thing just to go on that special double feature version."
