Malkovich to play 'Kubrick' - sort of

John Malkovich has agreed to play the lead in the upcoming movie Color Me Kubrick. He will portray the late Stanley Kubrick, but not really.

Color Me Kubrick follows the true expolits of a British con man who passed himself off as the director while he was in England filming Eyes Wide Shut. Under this false pretense, the con man infiltrated the inner circle of London's social elite. Ironically, Tom Cruise's character in Eyes Wide Shut does basically the same thing, albeit in New York.

To further add intrigue to this picture, Kubrick's longtime assistant wrote the screenplay and Brian Cook, who served as a crewmember Eyes Wide Shut, is set to direct the film.
