'Miami Vice' On The Big Screen?

Better dust off those white suit jackets and pastel t-shirts, they might just become fashionable again. That is, if Edward James Olmos has anything to do with it.

He's leading the charge to capitalize on the recent resurgence of old TV shows making a killing on the big screen (see Charlie's Angels from last year) to turn his baby, Miami Vice, into a feature-length Hollywood blockbuster. As you may recall, Olmos played Lt. Martin Castillo, the one responsible for Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) and Crockett (Don Johnson).

There's been nothing official on this one, so until we get a tip from a sleazy drug dealer, consider this pure speculation.
