On May 1st, Walt Disney Home Entertainment is closing the lid on the Disney/Pixar releases Toy Story and Toy Story 2. This will be the last day these movies will be available on DVD and VHS as they will be "going back in the vault and will no longer be sold to retailers," according to a company press release.

We've heard this before from the likes of Fox and Warner, on titles like Star Wars and The Wizard Of Oz, who said this very thing only to release them again a year or so later. Typically Disney's self-imposed moratorium does last longer. Snow White and The Little Mermaid were out of circulation for some time before their recent re-release in recent years, in updated formats.

In other words, if you have toddlers now, grab these two movies now or else you won't have the chance to own Woody and Buzz again until your kids are in middle school.
