If only Mrs. Cunningham knew what little Richie was up to, she'd surely not approve.

Director Ron Howard and his producing partner Brian Grazer are working on a documentary about Deep Throat and its lasting effects on society.

Released in 1972, Deep Throat, a $25,000 movie, is considered one of the most profitable movies of all time with worldwide grosses in excess of $600 million. But, more than that, it was a movie that brought pornography, and sex in general, to the general American lexicon. Everywhere from Watergate to the Internet, the effects of this one movie continues to be felt to this day.
