Hulk To Debut During Superbowl

Superbowl commercials are shrines to advertising. Many of the 30 second vignettes are quickly absorbed by pop culture and get a life of their own. For this reason, among others, studios have long seen the advantage of running big movie teasers during the NFL's championship game.

And this year is no exception when Universal revealed this week that it had gobbled up of the pricey slots (at a price nearing $2 million) to introduce the world to its version of The Incredible Hulk. Universal's The Hulk is being directed by action specialist Ang Lee and is slated to headline one of the strongest Summer slates in years when it bows in theaters on June 20th.
