Russell Crowe To Lose Bachelor Status

It's official. The last, great bachelor is hanging up his little black book and subscription to Playboy for the wonders of married life.

Russell Crowe made it official this past weekend by announcing that he's engaged to Danielle Spencer, the first, and apparently, last love of his life. Russell met Danielle in Australia during the late 1980s when they were both nothing more than aspiring musicians. Their relationship faded when Crowe left to become the next, big Hollywood hunk. Along the way, Russell made room for an A-List of A-List Hollywood Actresses including Meg Ryan and Nicole Kidman. But, in the end, he went back to his 'Dani,' whom he gushed over in his announcement of the cancellation of his U.S. tour with his band last month.

No wedding date has been set.
