When you think of 19th Century London and prostitutes, Kirsten Dunst isn't usually the first thing to come to mind. While Jack The Ripper claimed his fair share of notoriety, Kirsten's about to embark on a hooker tale with an entirely different ending.

She's close to signing on for The Crimson Petal And The White, a best selling novel about a 19th century prositute who uses her wits and intelligence to climb the social ladder of London. It's being described as a period piece Pretty Woman.
