Name Your Child 'Turok' And Get $10,000 For Your Labor

Video game manufacturer Acclaim Entertainment wants you to name your expectant child after their latest release.

Acclaim's 'Turok: Evolution' is coming today to a PlayStation 2, Xbox or Game Cube near you. In honor of the game featuring a dinosaur hunter named Turok, they want expecting parents to name their child in honor of him.

Of course there's a catch. The $10,000 in savings bonds for college will go to the first baby born on Sept. 1, 2002 with the legal first name of Turok. You can't change the names of any current children you may have.

No mention if it has to be a boy or a girl. So, the question remains: Are parents crazy enough to name their child after a video game actually crazy enough to name their daughter 'Turok'.
