'Beverly Hills, 90210' heart-throb Jason Priestley was rushed to the University of Kentucky Medical Center yesterday after crashing his race car at speeds exceeding 180 mph.

After leaving the zip code, Jason focused on his passion, race car driving and has drawn praise from fellow racers as talent behind the wheel. He qualified for the Infiniti Pro Series 100 on Saturday and sat on the front row when the flag dropped.

"He got sideways and he corrected and then shot off the track," former Indy 500 winner Arie Luyendyk said. His Dallara-Infiniti, similiar the an Indy Racing League car, hit the wall after running through a patch of oil.

"Jason does not have any injury that shouldn't fully recover," Dr. Andrew Bernard reported. Jason suffered a spinal fracture, concussion, broken nose and broken bones in his feet and legs.

Jason began racing in 1991, joined the IRL broadcast analyst team and then signed with Kelley Racing this year for the Infiniti Pro Series, an IRL developmental series.
