Soap Actor Dies On Same Day As Character

In a story that is seemingly plucked from the headlines of The Twilight Zone rather than reality, actor Josh Ryan Evans died on Monday, the same day in which the episode that depicts the demise of his "Passions" character first aired. Josh, who played the mischievous doll boy Timmy on the NBC soap opera, died of heart failure in San Diego.

The episode in question was taped last month. Josh Ryan Evans is best known for portraying a young Grinch in 2000's How The Grinch Stole Christmas and playing all of the babies during the action sequences in Baby Geniuses. On TV, he also had a recurring role as a child lawyer on "Ally McBeal."
