James Gandolfini Takes One For The Underdogs

James Gandolfini, better known as Tony Soprano, decided to go for a second round when he filmed another commericial for the Rutgers football team.

Last years efforts didn't seem to help as the team ended the season 2-9 but hey, fahgedabattit, there's still hope. James, who is a 1983 Rutgers grad, is also good friends with the Scarlet Knights newest coach.

The commercial, directed by Michael Imperioli, (who plays Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos) has Tony assuring his friends they will have good seats to the next Rutgers game.

In addition to the commericials, James appeared on a billboard near Miami International Airport last year to help Rutgers recruit players.

While James might support his "guys," Tony definitely wouldn't be caught dead betting on these boys this year.
