Crockett. Tubbs. 'Miami Vice' Goes To The Big Screen.

It's been over a decade since Miami Beach's finest patrolled land and water busting up drug deals week after week, but they'll back on the job soon enough.

Universal announced this week that it will partner with Michael Mann (the original executive producer on the TV series) to bring Miami Vice to the big screen. Mann will write the script and may direct.

Mann did say that he was looking to tell a story in present day Miami, but that a cameo by Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) and/or Ricardo Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) wasn't completely out of the question.
