The King of Pop is looking to take on the King of the World. But first, Michael Jackson will get his start in movie making with his first directorial feature.

He's been tapped to direct They Cage The Animals At Night, an adaptation of a book by Jennings Michael Burch. But don't worry, he's not going at it alone. Word has it that he'll have help from Bryan Michael Stoller, a veteran TV director, who has been asked by the single-gloved one to give him a helping hand.

The subject matter of the book deals with a boy's neverending journey from one foster home to another and this traumatic childhood helped to shape his life. I wonder if he'll be able to write in a part for his pal Bubbles...
