Robin Wright Penn & Robert Downey Jr. Comeback Together

It’s been awhile since either star has taken on a lead role, but Robin Wright Penn and Robert Downey Jr. are making a comeback together.

‘The Singing Detective’ will be a remake of the BBC television series. Hollywood heavyweight Mel Gibson will produce the drama.

Robert will play a psoriasis-ridden invalid who can’t separate reality and fantasy. His imagination develops around a book he is trying to rewite, ‘The Singing Detective.’ Robin will play his ex-wife who appears mostly in his dreams.

Downey must have been a shoe-in with his extension ‘mind-racing’ experience.
