'Freddy Vs. Jason' Script Approved

The wait is almost over.

The rumors of a Freddy Vs. Jason movie have been circulating for over a decade. And today, that movie took one more step closer to becoming a reality.

New Line co-chariman Bob Shaye announced that, at long last, he's approved the script to Freddy Vs. Jason. He didn't reveal too many details about the story-line but did say that at one point in the story, the two horror icons would work together as a team.

Filming may still happen this year, with a release as soon as next year possible.
