Halle Berry's Oscar Revoked!!

In perhaps the most shocking move ever made by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, it was announced today that actress Halle Berry would have to return her Best Actress Oscar that she earned for Monster's Ball. Apparently, the reason for the unprecedented revocation has to do with a technical error that the producers of Monster's Ball made when submitting Halle for Best Actress consideration.

The Academy has long-standing requirement that producers must delineate all instances in which a body double is used. The producers did not disclose any body double work at the time of submission. An astute office worker for the AMPAS noticed the disparity last week when he took in a matinee showing of Monster's Ball.

"I remember thinking that something didn't seem quite right during the explicit sex scenes," commented the anonymous office worker. "So, I ran home and put in my copy of Swordfish, and sure enough, they used a body double for it [Monster's Ball].

Halle Berry wasn't immediately available for comment, but co-star Billy Bob Thornton had plenty to say. "So what if Halle used a double? I mean, I didn't use a double and I didn't get a stupid award. That's all me up there on that screen, and I didn't get an Oscar for my naked butt."
