It's 'Showtime' For Eddie Murphy And The Courts

Comedy veteran Eddie Murphy may be defending his 'PJ' character if the courts agree to hear the lawsuit filed against the star.

Retired caretaker Tally Collier is suing Eddie, claiming Dr. Dolittle used his likeness without permission to create Mr. Sanchez, one of the characters in the cartoon series, 'The PJ's.'

The Chicago caretaker says Eddie has "defamed, insulted, humiliated and embarrassed" him by creating the grumpy old grandpa after him. Eddie produces and stars as voices on the show.

Maybe Eddie should title his next movie 'Welcome To America...'
