Alan Cumming Hired To Spy On Oscar Party

Women's magazine Harper's Bazaar hired Scottish actor Alan Cumming to scope out the Vanity Fair after-Oscar party. Rivals in the industry, HB wanted to know what Vanity Fair was going to print before they did.

Alan couldn't resist a little sarcasm and concern. After seeing Gwyneth's sheer get-up, Alan said "I'm rather worried about Gwyneth Paltrow." But he didn't stop there. "Joan Rivers is downright startling. Why you Americans would take fashion advice from someone who looks like that is quite beyond me. We must talk about it."

I must say...I concur.
