'Malcolm' Mom Gets Out Of The Middle

Hit comedy 'Malcolm In The Middle' star Jane Kaczmarek was missing from the set for almost three weeks due to migraine headaches, but this time they weren't from her four television sons.

Studio bosses questioned Jane's medical ailment since they began shortly after her request for a salary hike. Her publicist denies the "sickout" saying her client "has been medically diagnosed as suffering from severe migraine headaches."

Headaches or cash-aches, Jane got what she wanted. She was promised a bigger paycheck when her contract is renewed.

It is a known fact that Jane and producers "butt heads" often over her salary.The tv mom took a two-day walkout last year as well, getting a small salary boost. Jane isn't alone. Her husband, 'West Wing' star Bradley Whitford and his co-stars walked out last year until producers nearly doubled their paychecks and what a coincidence, the 'West Wing' clan was represented by the same attorney that banked it for Jane...
