Ben Affleck Is Going, Going, 'Gone'

Hollywood superstar in the making Ben Affleck may have finally found his franchise of films. Paramount announced this week that they've acquired the feature film rights to the Dennis Lehane novel Gone, Baby, Gone with the hopes of turning it into a starring vehicle for Affleck.

The series of books, in which Gone is the fifth installment, follows the exploits of a pair of unlikely Boston private investigators. Paramount also controls the rights to another book in the series "Prayers For Rain," which lends credence to the thought that Paramount is thinking of turning these books into a franchise for Affleck.
