Three Movie Sweethearts Give School Kids A Hand

They've all played little vixens in a movie or two, but recently they all exposed the soft side of their hearts.

Cameron Diaz, Selma Blair and Christina Applegate worked together with Kester Elementary (Los Angeles) students to turn a stark schoolyard into a butterfly park. The kids were divided into three teams: Team Cameron, Team Selma and Team Christina.

The Sweetest Thing (in theaters April 12) co-stars couldn't wait to help out when they heard how the kids wanted to do something useful with the land going to waste.

Not only did the kids get a new park but everyone was featured in an eight-page spread for Marie Claire magazine.
