Bank clerk Dick Howe is given an assignment he'd rather not carry out. The president of the bank has sent him to the ranch owned by pretty Ann Martin to give her some bad news - her deed is barely worth the paper it's printed on. Ann uses her seductive wiles, however, to convince Dick to do his own appraisal. A clearly smitten Dick discovers silver on her land and uncovers a plot to steal it that goes deeper than he ever imagined.
Playing on the then-popular title, "It Happened One Night," this romantic western was filmed on spectacular Red Rock Canyon locations by director Howard Bretherton, well-known for his Hopalong Cassidy features. Famous stuntman Bob "Shorty" Woodward, who doubled for Gene Autry, Dick Foran and many others, appears here, as does real-life cowboy Ben Corbett in the role of comic sidekick, Gimpy.
