- Guy's father was a pilot and his mother was a school teacher. His father died in a plane crash when Guy was only eight.
- Guy was born in England but his family moved to Australia when he was three years old.
- When Guy was 16, he won the "Mr. Junior Victoria" body building contest.
- Only two days after his high school graduation, Guy landed a role on the popular Australian soap opera "Neighbours."
- Guy married his childhood sweetheart Kate Mestitz in 1997. They live in Melbourne.
